How the VA Rates Psoriasis

Same framework as eczema — coverage or treatment intensity — with one big lever: biologic medications count as systemic therapy, and being on one continuously supports the 60% level. Psoriatic arthritis in any joint is rated separately on top.

Evidence That Wins This Claim

  • On a biologic (Humira, Stelara, etc.)? That's constant systemic therapy — 60% criteria.
  • Joint pain with psoriasis = claim psoriatic arthritis separately.
